Sleepless in Seattle
Photo courtesy http://www.robmillard.comSeattle! I have never been and am pretty excited to visit. I wouldn't mind tossing a fish at Pike Place, sipping a latte at the original Starbucks, checking out Puget Sound, eating a lot of seafood (especially after this holiday) and perhaps wearing a bit of flannel. Those are the things you are supposed to do there, right? Regardless, after I found this image, I got pretty pumped to see such a cool, urban environment. Bring on the rain.

Give Voice to Your Heart
I stumbled across this commercial whilst looking online @ British Vogue. I love this woman's voice and the commercial ain't that bad either. Very festive: http://www.tiffany.com/Default.aspx?overlay=linkGiveVoiceToYourHeartVideo
Le Dress magnifique!

This year, our holiday staff party consisted of a shop crawl across Chicago. Fun, right? Well, it was! One of my favorite stops was Le Dress: http://http//www.ledresschicago.com If you are any kind of Chicago fashionista, you must stop here. Considered only a dress boutique, shoppers can find dresses ranging from $100 to $375 with designers such as Shoshanna, Laundry, ABS and many more. Dress crisis averted. You're welcome!
Merry Christmas!

Her Madge-sty.
I really fell off the gift guide countdown train but there are so many things to be excited for in 2010. In part, advertising, award shows, warm weather, maybe a better economy...the list goes on. Speaking of excitement, pictured above is the new 2010 Dolce and Gabbana ad campaign featuring Madge. First off, she looks better than ever; particularly her bombshell locks. Second, what an ironic ad campaign. The only thing missing is Lourdes. Third, I love that it is shot in black and white. Home run.

Smart move, M.A.C.
M.A.C. has done it again. The brand's new ad campaign features Lady Gaga (sans mask & headgear) and the ever popular 80's icon, Cyndi Lauper. Genius? We think so. (picture courtesy http://http//nymag.com/daily/fashion/)

Let the soirees begin...
I love this ad courtesy New York Magazine. It's for Grand Marnier and it seemed so festive plus the female cartoon (although headless) knows that the LBD and fabulous heels are always right for any fancy, holiday occasion. Smart, engaging ads are hard to come by these days so I salute Grand Marnier for a flashback to the good ol' days.Friday, December 11, 2009
Gingerbread mission
I have decided that I want to make a gingerbread house tonight. Having only tried it once and failing miserably; I can't say that I am confident but look how adorable the above is (courtesy Google images). All you need is a little creativity, right? Stay tuned for my pics later this evening. ♥Wednesday, December 9, 2009
Nutcracker Suite

By far, the best and most imaginative ballet is The Nutcracker. The holidays always make me nostalgic for the days when I used to take ballet, sit in on hours of rehearsals and attend costume fittings. * sigh * Luckily, I can start my own tradition and get in the spirit of the holidays by seeing Joffrey Ballet's version each and every year.
