A note from Lucy

Hey fellow readers,
Lucy here. It's been awhile since you've heard from me what with all this "Olivia" business. I still have no idea who she is save for a pink hat that sits by mom's side of the bed and this room with crazy cows and owls in it. {not really a cohesive theme Mom + Dad but nobody asked for my opinion} Anyhoo, I spent a long week in the country with my grandparents and I was certain Mom + Dad went on another wackadoo trip but this was not the case. Admittedly, I gave them the cold shoulder when I returned. I mean, love is a two way street, right? I think they feel bad though so I've decided to drop the 'tude and go back to fetching bone for them.

Mom looks different. Her stomach doesn't have a heartbeat anymore. Not sure what was going on there but I am relieved because she was looking mighty puffy these last two weeks. I didn't want to tell her because she's so sensitive but it wasn't a good look for her. Plus she was so slow when we went up and down the stairs. I found it to be really annoying.

Dad looks kinda tired but he always still gets down on the floor with me to play at night. He seemed reallllly excited to see me the other day. He's such a sucker. I always get extra treats from him.

I guess there's about to be some changes going on in these parts. I can smell it. I am not concerned though. I am a go-with-the-flow kinda dog and who cares when the sun is shining and I get to go on more walks. Truthfully, I've got some winter lbs. to work off.

That's the word on the street.

Paws,
Lucy

  4. So sweet! I hope Lucy dog remembers that she was the first princess. Give her a tummy rub for me. :)

(And, man, I'm not even pregnant, but my dog gets aggrivated with me when I'm slow up the stairs, too. I'd like to see her do it quicker in 6" heels!)
