Outfitting a second nursery.

Baby Nursery Mobile - Baby Crib Mobile - Baby Mobile - Polka Dot Grey Powder Yellow White Elephants theme(Custom colors available)

CRIB SHEET in Chevron Zig Zag Print (CUSTOM: choose your fabric)

Jenny Lind-Style Crib
I feel like we accomplished a lot last weekend. It's hard to get excited about designing another nursery when you don't have colors and a theme to steer you. No longer the case!

We chose the Jenny Lind crib because it received great reviews and was a bit of a departure from Olivia's contemporary nursery. I wanted the girls to have different rooms and a different aesthetic. We also scored a fantastic, little, vintage dresser on Craig's List which will double as a changing table.

With that we chose a color scheme: yellow, gray and white. Soothing, clean and serene. I'm excited! The fitted crib sheet will be the yellow chevron pictured above. {and I bought an orange chevron pattern for Liv} And of course, the mobile is the obvious "elephant" in the room. So where Olivia had owls, TBD, or Dos as we call her, will have elephants.

My only question for you is, seeing as we have decided to go with a yellow, gray and white color scheme...do you think we should repaint the dresser or leave as is? It could be a fun pop of color.

Opinions...let's hear 'em!

  1. Leave as is! It's such a perfect aqua-turquoise and would look ridiculous with a bright ceramic lamp on top.. maybe yellow or white with a grey & white lampshade??? Or line the drawers.. or paint the legs.. or throw a small grey & white area rug under the dresser to make it "a thing"... or all of the above...

  4. Yello, Gray and white is a great color combo. I would like to see the drawer in white, but that turquoise looks good, too. xoxo

  6. That turquoise color is really pretty and unique. White would also look clean and exquisit and also would match the crib. It's a great piece of furniture! :)

  8. I say leave as is! Maybe just change the knobs to make it a little more "yours" and a little less "someone else's". Great find!

  9. Aah cute, I love all these picks! I say leave the dresser - I reckon a dose of turquoise will look great set against the yellow etc.

You must post up some pics when it's finished!

  11. Ok you are SO far advanced from where I am. I'm still figuring out nursery stuff - I love the dresser and the pop of color so I say even though yellow, white and gray are your theme. add the accent color. :)
